Adobe Audition
Use stories to bring audios to life.
Adobe Audition is a comprehensive set of tools that includes multi-track, waveform, and spectral display capabilities for creating, mixing, and editing content in audio format. This powerful audio workstation is designed to speed up video production and audio completion workflows and provide a finished mix of high-quality sound. And it's only available in Creative Cloud.
Creative Cloud is a platform for creativity that connects users, content, applications, services, hardware, learning content, and the community. It gives business customers the creative tools and services they need to collaborate and create their best work, while making managing software fast, easy and flexible.
Principal functions
- Multi-channel audio workflows: Automatically separate all audio channels into separate clips. You can customize the channels assigned to each clip and adjust the routing of specific channels.
- Effects Remove Reverb and Remove Noise: Reduce or eliminate reverb and background noise in recordings without imprinting noise or complicated settings with these powerful real-time effects in the Essential Sound panel.
- Sound Eliminator: Easily remove specific audio elements in just a few clicks. Select an unwanted sound sample. Sound Remover will then analyze the entire clip and remove that item from the recording. Fix or restore dialogue and production audio to present flawless results more quickly.
- Automatic voice alignment: Replace off-studio-recorded dialogue with studio-recorded ADR material and line it up perfectly, even when there is background noise in the original audio. Solve lip sync issues easily and deliver better productions faster.
- Preview editor: Please check the edits before applying. With the Preview Editor, you can visually compare wave settings, view multiple sections of file simultaneously, and check time span before applying changes.
- Waveform scaling and gain control on clips: Adjust the audio without looking away or move the mouse away from the content with the gain adjustments on the clips. Use your eyes and ears to adjust the volume of a clip with the immediate ones using a waveform that allows you to easily scale in real time to adjust the amplitude.
