Principal functions
- Labeling panel and templates: Radically speed up shot registration by creating custom label templates that you can add with a single click while reviewing footage. Enhance your media with metadata without typing or spelling mistakes. Tagged template documents can be shared and reused between projects, machines, and users.
- Improved initial mounts: Creating a rough cut is now a breeze, just drag and drop the takes you want to include. Curl your clips right on the timeline to get exactly the cut you want.
- Prelude Live Logger: Quickly and easily record recording notes anywhere right on your iPad, then bring your annotations to Prelude where you can add them to file-based sequences.
- Export bookmarks list: Quickly review your media content with a printed list of bookmarks. Easily get your team into action with line items that describe your media metadata throughout your production workflow.
- Harnessing the power of metadata: Create custom metadata templates to make gathering key information an easy and consistent part of your transfer workflow. Add metadata in real time via keyboard input or directly from a script created in Adobe Story. Finding the sequences you want is easy in Prelude because all of your metadata is searchable.
- File verification reports: Take the worry out of your ingest workflow thanks to industry standard file-to-file comparisons. If there are issues, Prelude will give you a complete list of all affected files so you always know where you stand with your media.
